The course is one of the two modules in which the "Laboratory of Urban and environmental design and restoration" is structured.
It aims at exploring the main challenges that contemporary cities have to cope with (from demographic changes to environmental decay, from traditional risks to climate related risks) and the likely solutions to face them. Particular attention will be devoted to the role of green urban infrastructure in favoring a sustainable and resilient urban development.
