The course is divided into macro-topics relating to English in the world, with particular regard to interaction with other fields of study, for example, intercultural communication; language and social media; traditional language and media; language for special purposes.
The macro-topics will be studied through the strategies of re-elaboration and synthesis of the contents in order to facilitate the acquisition of a series of fundamental linguistic abilities to continue the study of the language in other fields of study.
The course, starting from the cultural contents concerning teaching, will highlight and treat the use of the language in its functional, grammatical and phonetic characteristics.
The overall objective of the module is to provide the tools necessary to be able to understand the key points of topics that concern the study, work leisure and everyday life. Knowing how to deal with most situations that might arise in the country where English is spoken. Be able to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions, also briefly explain the reasons for opinions as well as projects.
